>Your virtual server can be fully customised through the automated Client Area in our admin area, so you do not have to wait for personal intervention for a reboot or reinstall.
Xen based VPS gives you the basic look and feel of a dedicated server, and your disk space and bandwidth is guaranteed due by the amount allocated to you by the host server. Rather than working from a pool of resources that anybody can access, you are promised a certain level and get a certain level, plain and simple.
Our dedicated resources are at your disposal with Xen based virtualization solutions, whether it be during the daily peak periods or the night-time light traffic. So you will never have to worry that during critical periods there aren’t enough resources!
Any VPS can be run using the more popular Linux system, but you can also run your website on your chosen operating system. You can choose from paravirtualization – for Linux operating systems, with modified kernels – or complete virtualization – for any operating system, emulating full-featured hardware.
The first version of Xen was developed in the Computer Laboratory of the University of Cambridge by a research team led by professor Ian Pratt. Later he founded the company XenSource together with professor Simon Crosby, also from Cambridge. Xen is an open source software published under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Its first free-to-use version came out in 2003.
